Testaments to the Future: Recent Acquisitions In celebration of The Mexican Museum's 30th Anniversary, we presented a selection of recently acquired artworks in our remarkable permanent collection, built through the generosity of our donors. This special exhibition included a colonial-era painting, a life-size wooden devil from Guerrero, a Peter Rodriguez drawing, sculptures by New Mexico santero Ben Ortega, an oil painting by Mexican master Roberto Montenegro, and a textile installation by Chicana artist Consuelo Jiménez Underwood.
